Can you help me by spelling it how it sounds. For example, If I didn't know how to pronounce the word "fashion" you would spell it like this: fah-shun. Hopefully you guys can help me pronounce it properly! Thanx guys!

You are asking people to spell things phonetically. Avatar is pronounced the way it is spelled. Short A, va as in van, and tar, same thing people put on streets. A-va-tar.
