She's spoken just about everywhere (including my school, Texas A&M!). In September 2006 XM Satellite Radio announced that Maya Angelou would host a weekly radio show on Oprah Winfrey's radio channel Oprah & Friends.[2]

Gosh, I was lucky enough to hear her almost 15 years ago (yikes!) at a national conference for Student Affairs professionals in Cincinnati, OH. She is an excellent speaker - such a voice. So often seems like you're wishing the keynote would speed it up, but in this case, it was just the opposite. I can still hear her in my head.
