My brother and I are arguing on what makes a great game. I say graphics are the best, but he said that the programming are the best. He always said "Great games aren't created to be flashy. It may be cool at first, but it will grow boring really fast."

Such nonsense...I guess that's why he perfer playing pokemon red and super mario bros.
and I perfer playing pokemon leafgreen and super mario all-stars.

Who do you perfer?

I prefer Preformance over graphics.
PROOF:
Pacman
Tetris
Gauntlet

Would you rather have a game that looked good, but was so boring you get tired of it in hours?

Or a slightly less good looking game that runs well, plays well, and is generally intresting and can keep you hooked for years?

Actually It Depends If You Like Art? Or If You Like The In Game Feeling Of You Actually Controlling Everything? So He May Like Controlling Everything & You May Like The Art & Beuty But Personally I Like The Performance.

I have a "nVidia 7800 Ultra" Graphics card, actually two. So I get the best of both worlds, but to be honest, all parts must come together equally fast, for everything to work.

I like a little of both. I love playing HalfLife 2, but I still hold my Atari, SNES, and N64 close to my heart.
