I would like to relocate to the state I've loved since childhood, Florida, when I graduate from college in May. I have a section 8 voucher and have an excellent relationship with my current landlord. Section 8 tenants have gotten a bad rap in the past, but I do not fall into that category. If anyone can help, your efforts will be greatly appreciated. I really like the Northport area in Sarasota County, but I am not picky.

Housing Authority Details
Sarasota Board Of Cc
1300 Sixth Street
Sarasota, FL. 34236-4236

Phone: (941) 951-3640 x3761
Fax: (941) 951-3648

Services Offered: Section 8

In addition, here's a website for all the other section 8 offices in Florida. The list is in alphabetical order and you use the tab that reads "next/last" to the right side over the addresses to manuever down the list (it took me awhile to figure it out myself).
Each office should be able to tell you about availability.
