Saddly no one knows. Bush doesn't even know except for staying on course with digging a deeper and deeper hole so that the world can cave in on itself. We went in there because Bush had a grudge and thought he oust Saddam like his father had ousted Noriega from Panama. This obviously backfired or more accurately blew up in his face. So he keeps lying and pretending there is a master strategy and that we are safer.

Quite frankly, no. Only President Bush and his yes men know. I say, love never fails, bring 'em home NOW! Stop re-creating 9/11 for families across the USA all over again, when they lose their loved ones for no good reason.

No one is sure how to do it, but the USA is trying to put a stable govt. in place. As we all know it's not working out.

Oil fields are a big part of it, but regional control (geopolitcal boundaries) and who has it is also a big deal too.

According to Bush, first it was to stop Saddam from using his WMD;s, which we found out didn't exist, now it is "spreading democracy."
