I have a question--in fantasy basketball, do i start a player for the weeks or can i sit a guy if he isnt playing tonight and start someone who isnt--my league is rotiserrie if it matters.

Pay attention to your max games. If you go over your max, you'll have to sit your best guys on the bench at the end of the year. Well, you can play him, but you won't get any points for him, which could really hurt you. There should be a place somewhere where you can see how many games you've played at each position. You certainly can play a guy at every position every day, but you are going to run out of games really fast and your stats won't be that good.

Yes, you can rotate players in and out depending on who is playing that night. You might want to check if your league has a max games played though. This limits how much you can swap players just because they have a game.

EDIT: 82 max games means that you can only start a player at a given position 82 times. The easiest way to handle this is to find your best players at every position, and just keep them in your starting lineup. If one of them goes down then replace him with another guy.
