My friend is in danger cuz her step-dad beats her n her mom. But she wouldn't tell anybody except her close friends. and I told her i wouldn't tell...wat should i do stay out or tell someone?

My friend was gettin bashed by her step-dad 2, i also promised not 2 tell but it was gettin outta hand so i told my mum and she rang......dam....soz i 4got wat it's called.....um u now da place were they children sumtin [i'm soooo sorry] umm.....anyway these peps went 2 her house and threatened her step dad, she was so happy the next week coz he totally stopped. so maybe u should tlk 2 ur mum about it! she'll know wat 2 do.

Should you tell someone....yes. But, I also understand that she's afraid and doesn't want you to tell. Here's what I think you should do. Go to your school counselor and, without telling her your friends name ask for his/her help in this way. 1) Find the nearest shelter for abused women and children. Get their # and a contact.2) Get the phone of the Domestic Abuse division of the local police dept. (if they have such a unit.) 3) Talk with your Dad and explain the situation but that you can't tell and ask if IF it's OK that in am emergency your friend and her mom stay at your house. 4) Go to the library and read everything on domestic abuse you can find. 5) Go to your friend and give her the #'s. and let her know she and her Mom are always welcome. You can best help by giving them hope and options. Often people don't leave abusive relationships because they don't know what to do and even feel that they deserve the abuse. Be a friend and try to help your friend escape this hell. Keep listening and if this violence escalates, you MUST not keep silent. Even at the risk of your friendship. Friendship goes beyond the superficial. Good Luck.

A true friend would tell someone. It's obvious your friend and her mom are in danger. I REALLY think you should tell someone right NOW. I know I would if my friend was in danger.

I think you should tell some one and explain to her that if he ends up killing or really hurting one of them by you being her friend that is something you will have to live with for the rest of your life..My other suggestion is pay some guys or bigger men you know to beat the **** outt of his *** seriously, and if he's really jacked up and gets it like he should he shouldnt be kicking any *** anytime soon trust me!!

If u were a true friend, and care about her, it would be a good idea to inform someone in higher authority about the situation.

she should go to a guidance conclare at school or you should tell your parents but maybey you should find out if it is really true.
