He'll do good for you...but has lied to the LSU recruits just before leaving Baton Rouge. Lied to the Miami media...just last week. He does have a credibility issue now. But I would say that the SEC neighborhood just got a little tougher.

Well... think nothing yet. Let him get in there for a year or two and see what he can do.

Besides, it's not REALLY "him" that will DO anything. I don't know follow Bama so I don't know who the last coach is/was, but whatever's going on I wish people wouldn't put so much emphasis on the coach. Sure, the coach may make some bad calls or decisions here and there, but it's the players who have to go out and actually perform.

If Bama suddenly has an 8, 9, or 10-game season (in the win column) next year, it will be good for Saban because it will reflect on him. But it's the players that will actually make it happen.

I hope ya'll have some good players and make it back to the top where ya'll used to be.

Hey ROLL TIDE!!! Anyway...hopefully he will be tons better than Shula ever was...I'm sorry...I don't care if Shula did play for Bama...the guy had serious issues as far as I was concerned. When he always looked as if he was pi$$ed if we made a really great play (seldom did our really great plays happen though) or won a game I have no use for him. Hopefully Saban will get us back where we need to be...I actually got tired of turning off the tv in the middle of games this season b/c I was so miserable with how things were going...GO BAMA!!!!

I think Penn State recruits are more likely to play their whole career for Paterno than 'Bama recruits are for Saban.

hard to say, he's great coach but his integrity takes big hit for denying wanting the bama job and then taking it

$aban is a backstabbing SOB that handled the situation horribly. Everyone would have understood if he wanted to go back to college but he didnt have to lie about it. $aban is a big baby and loves to hear himself talk and whines about everything. Muschamp will kill you guys at Auburn, LSU people hate him now for having enough stupedity to come back to the SEC west and will kill him next year, and McFadden will run all over Nicks new team. $aban will have it rough next year.
