I life in Connecticut and it has been in the fourties and lower fiftees for the past three weeks. It has not snowed AT ALL. It seems that this winter will be snowless and warm. Why is this? Why is the eastern seaboard so hot this year? Is there a chance it will snow at all this winter?

My family in PA is having the same weather. The Midwest is having unseasonably cold weather though. It's probably just a freak winter and next winter will be more normal.

It's disapointing though.

I live in Jerusalem, and we had 10in. of snow last week. My family lives in PA and it was 50 degrees out. GO figure.

Have you seen Al Gore's documentary called "An Inconvenient Truth"? It explains the effects of Global Warming....the gist of it is the CO2 levels on earth are increasing rapidly, and this traps warm air in our atmosphere causing a global temperature imbalanace. I highly recommend that you watch it, it will answer your question of why it's been hot in the East Coast. It's the same here in the West Coast....hardly any rain, and snow in the mountains. It's quite disturbing!

Too many cars. Trees are getting bulldozed daily. The beginning of the end.
