not if they are all standard issue

playing on double rimmed hoops, 9 foot hoops or even lower, bent rims, or low ceiling gyms can alter and affect your shot and shouldn't be used for serious practice

There's no such thing as too many basketball courts as long as the hoops are the same size and at the same height. NBA players play on 30 different courts all year, not counting the courts they practice on. Then there are the courts overseas and summertime leagues. You're supposed to be able to adjust to the court, be it hardwood or concrete or what not. They do affect your dribbling, pivoting, speed and jumping, but only slightly (unless there's a big pothole wherever you go). You should also be able to adjust to the constantly changing amount of sweat and dirt on your hands and on the ball (which your hands adjust to by instinct). As long you have the same grip on the ball, the same aim, the same throwing motion, courts should be the least of your worries. They're just lousy excuses.

It can't mess up your shooting it can make it better. It can mess it up when you practice the wrong way.

nah. even if the ball doesnt go in you are still working on your rythem, your footing, your release. those thing will stay the same as long as you dont try to change them. alot of great player came up from playing on crappy courts.
