Because they are the upper class and you don't think they are going to foot the bill, do you? You don't see Barbra Streisand, Whoopee Goldberg and Alec Baldwin offering their fortunes to help the needy, do you. Let's face it, even when they do a benefit it's just a huge write off for them! I don't mind celebs making a ton of money, but don't turn around and tell me to donate mine for something that YOU believe in!

They want power.
Rather than let people keep the money they earn and use as they please, libs want to be switching it between owners as much as possible. Even if the same people end up with the same amount of money, they want to be in the middle of all those transactions just so it seems they are giving something. Disregard the fact that they often take, they want you to thank them for the little you keep.

When W came into office 6 plus years ago, the country was in the black 130 billion dollars. Now it is over 300 billion dollars in the red - so who is doing the sucking? When W came into office 6 years ago, 13% of the population were considered "poor" - now it is 22% - who is doing the sucking?

I'm sorry. . . You have liberals confused with Republicans. . . Republicans suck every cent out of the working class.
(see George W. Bush and his "war". . . How much has that cost us in $$$$?? In lives, we are just about at 3,000 soldiers. I think that there are about 3,000 families that would say that Republicans cost them a hell of a lot more than stupid money)

bc republicans in power always squander the money in order to look good, but that is bad so we get mad and vote them out. then the "Liberals" like me have to clean up the mess AND play catch up! so WE don't look bad. which tax advocated by the liberals are you referring to? The Inheritance tax (that only taxes estates over 1.2 million dollars)? The progressive income tax, that has lower rates for lower income families?

They don't. I am liberal and I am working class. It is the Republicans that suck our coffers dry with wars and no bid Government contracts that they hand out to themselves. The working class American is the one who pays for these things, and so much more.

They put it torwards making our schools, roads, future foundation better. The only way to do these improvments is to tax people and other forms. Its not just the working class. It may seem like it because you work hard for what you get while the higer incomed people usually inherit somehow or another.
