That question can not really be answer because if the person is not famous he is not looked at as a true hero.

Oh there are alot of people, ordinary everyday people who are out there doing their best to help others and you don't know they are famous because everyone doesn't know what they did, only a handful of grateful people. Like the guy yesterday on the local news who saw a man have a seizure and fall on train tracks, he tried to get the man up but couldn't so he laid on top of him pressing him against the tracks holding him tight down while the train went over them both, he saved the guys life, did he think he was a hero? no, he did the right thing to do. He is a hero, I don't know his name but it was in New York City. He did the extraordinary but isn't famous.

BM1 (SEAL) Brian Ouellette
(1967-2004)
The Combat Swimmer is dedicated to honor the Naval Special Warfare warriors who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to provide peace and freedom for all Americans. It is a tribute to the heroes-- the early frogmen who made up the original Underwater Demolition Teams-- which are now known as Seal Teams.
Brian Ouellettee, a true hero, is now in the company fo the heores who once came before him.
Brian may your act go unoticed, thanks for your service to this country.

I would say all the parents who fought so hard even in difficult circumstances to raise loving respectable godly happy positive and progressive children. Everyone of them is an unknown heroe. Their legacy is the whole foundation of existence.

Well, my parents bailed me out of jail. Which, all joking aside, makes them my heroes. They (and most parents for that matter) try to do whatever they can to help out their children - no matter how old they get. :)
