justice is an eye for an eye.....revenge is taking more then you
lost....or some say that revenge is more about doing some
too someone LONG after the fact...VS heat of the moment...

Getting justice is righting a wrong according to the law of the land the wrong was committed in.
Revenge can be justice, but does not have to. It is righting a wrong whether it was against the law of the land it was committed in or not.

the real difference is revenge is when you seek to get even with some one for a wrong did you ,wheather perceived or not,
Justice is where you take your case into a court of law and let them get a portion of the proceeds,thru fines or?

revenge is for personal satisfaction, justice is (supposedly) for the greater good. although the two are often confused; revenge is often passed off as justice so that people can hide their real motives.

Revenge would be like murdering the person who murdered your mother. Justice would be if the cop caught that murdered who killed you mother and he was convicted of the murder in a court of law and thrown in jail for life.
