i know they after a piercing to keep the earing in for a while and twist it and push it back and forth and all that, but if you were to switch the earring maybe the day after u got it with a bigger one, would it be a big deal if your hands and the new needle and everything are clean?

Maybe if you did it really fast. The main reason they have you keep it in is so the hole doesn't close up and they have you twist it so the earring doesn't stick to the ear. If you made the change really fast and kept up with the same rules you had for the first pair of earrings, I think you will be ok.

I believe you mean the stud of the earring not the needle. It will be sore, and may not go in easy, but it can be done. Make sure you use plenty of alcohol on your hands, ear, and new earring. I wouldn't recommend doing this too often, so make sure your next earring is what you want to stay with for awhile.

i don`t think it`ll be a big deal if you switch it a bit early, but you`re supposed to leave in the earring that you first got when you pierced your ear so that that it helps create the hole since it`s still a new wound.

its not a great idea, but you could do it. I would have a friend help you in case it hurts, they can help guide the stud through. put on some polysporin to help prevent infection, and then keep up your regular cleaning and maintainance routine

it might mess it up or hurt also i think the earrings they first put in are specially made for new holes so i dont know. try and see if it stays the same.

no you could change them if youd like yet earlier you do, make specific to scrub the two the earing and around the hollow on your ear with the earing cleanser they're think to offer.
