and even managed to pair the dongle with my phone. i can transfer files from phone to pc, but whentrying to send items to phone a box appears saying windows cannot find the device. what's going on?

If your phone came with software to put on the computer then use that to transfer files between the 2.
I tried a similar thing with my nokia

not not all the virus that has ability to circulate itself yet few might can do it. If the records which you're transfering is already contaminated with virus then you definately are helping them to circulate your self. Few viruses like: Skulls Virus, CommWarrior Virus are bluetooth virus that would circulate without informing you and alter your platforms. So word and turn it off collectively because it is not in use.

you have to link them together 1st do this by putting on bluetooth on both items and getting ur fone to search for the dongle then enter 0000 in both the fone screen and pc then hey presto its connected then u can transfer files

Some bluetooth doesn't install properly under SP2.
