Why do so many people dream of flying but in a time when people could really go fly, a time when extreme sports are all the rage the flying sports are all in decline?

I don't fly, frankly, because I hate being crammed into a seat the size of a shoebox in an immovable position for several hours while I listen to my ears pop, over and over again. I'd rather take the time, and drive, and enjoy the scenery...

I haven't been on a plane since the twin towers were attacked. Plus, around here, it seems like every other week there is a plane "mishap" of some kind or another.

couldn't tell you buddy. I am too poor to be jumping out of airplanes.but I would. I'd also need a buddy to do it with. the one I have is a major wuss. won't even ride roller coasters.
