my husband says he does but on a daily basis thats all he says.we have no other conversation.no communication.so if he cant talk to me why is he with me?

and she also neglected to tell how i work 3 jobs right now, just so we can hopefully keep our house and two cars, because we are on the verge of losing it all, oh and she also forgot to mention that she has been just as silent as i have the past few day or maybe week or so........i love my wife, but when i dont usually get off work till 11pm or later all i am looking forward to is sleep, because i know im suppose to be back at work the next day at 8 am which lately has turned into 9 am, i am very tired but i the bills have to be paid.........and thats not even mentioning the court issues with my ex wife!

You can't. You can only base it on your past experience with that person. Have they ever lied before? To me the words mean nothing, absolutely nothing. A stranger saying it to me has the same effect as some I know. Their actions say it all to me. Just because you don't love you the way you think they should does not mean they don't. Is he there for you when you are sad? Can he tell when something si bothering you? Does he try to cheer you up? His he coming home to you and you alone? Is he there with you whether it is that time fo the month or not? Does he deal with your friends or fmaily members he doesn't like just for you? All those things, those little things can determine if he does or doesn't. It is the little things that count the most. You are questioning his love, but have you questioned yours for him? Does he feel your love? Does he know you love him by the simple things? Have you given him, your relationship everything? Have you put the same effort into ensuring he knows you love him as you are demanding from him?

A good friend told me once that talk is cheap... meaning u can say "I love you" a thousand times and meant but when you love someone you also show them in the way you treat them and behave around them as well.And also what you are prepared to do for them.
These things mean as much if not more than those 3 words

Actions will always speak louder than words. I never look at what a person tells me, I always look at how I am being treated by them. If a man tells me that he loves me, he's going to have to prove it with a little more than lip service. The ultimate definition for love is 'action'.

Gee at least he is quiet. Listen no matter what you have to take his word. You sound as if you do not believe him. I wonder why? have you wonder why? There is no way to know the answer to that question. If you trust him and love him and he is good to you and is there for you then I would say you are lucky.

His silence might just be part of his personality, but maybe he doesn't know what to talk to you ABOUT.
However, it's sometimes hard to tell if someone means it when they say they love you. If he doesn't communicate with you ANY other way, it's doubtful whether he means it or not.

Men are different from women, no doubt. They show their love in different ways than women do. Women are more verbal and emotional. Men like to show it in their actions and not just by buying gifts, flowers, etc..it's more in the day-to-day activities.

It's prolly not that he can't talk to you, he just doesn't want to talk to anyone. Men are usually pretty quiet by nature. Try to start up conversations that may interest him. I'm sure that he does love you or he wouldn't be with you.

Maybe he's simply run out of things to say. Do something together to have new reference points, and new things to talk about. It's pure trust, though.
