No. Jaime Foxx gives a worthy performance, so if you're a fan of his, you should check it out.
Otherwise, it was poorly lit, the story was uncompelling and Gong Li completely unbelievable as a Cuban-not looks wise, but why would her Spanish have an Oriental accent if she moved there as a child?

Awful, awful movie. What happen to the people who made this movie? Were they on drugs? They made the original Miami Vice movie, and the tv show. Did they all get brain dead? Terrible movie.
Never should have been made.

nicely I in no way watched the television tutor because of the fact i became basically a sprint too youthful for it... yet I did like the action picture. My mom became a huge Miami Vice television tutor fan, and he or she enjoyed the action picture additionally. She did not like it, yet she thought it became good.

I couldn't pay attention to it for the life of me...maybe I just wasn't in the right mindframe to watch it, but I highly doubt I'll try again. It didn't seem to be very interesting from what I did actually watch.

Oh, no no no no no no no no no. Terrible.
No chemistry, bad acting, Colin Farrell and the mullett...I could go on forever. A complete waste of talent.

I liked it... and I saw Jamie Foxx's butt in that movie so that was pretty cool too

it was so bad it put me to sleep. 20 times... i stayed hoping it might get better. it never did. it sucked.

It is good visually but it bored me. It didn't have they humor of the TV show.
