It was actually sponsored by the World paper. So it became the world series. Anyway don"t you seppos know anything about your own country. "seppos" short for septic tanks. "yanks.". Somehow I could of guessed that America was the centre of the universe.

Canada is in it too, there is the Toronto Blue Jays ... so I guess they can call it world seris if they want, but Canada is just like the US so I guess it's not really "international". Besides the only countries that really play baseball are Canada and the USA, so we can call it whatever the pook we want. And by the way, this question has been asked several hundred times ... couldn't you have just read one of them?
