of course, just think; a minute ago, a baby was born and may someday be our president or next billionare or might just change our world entirely

Children are the future but that is dependent on what they inherit from adults. What I mean is that the future is in the hands of adults. So when we say that "children are the future," we are talking about the legacies of adults. It is very much like asking which was first between the chicken and the egg.

I believe that children are the future demise of the earth. There are already too many people vying for too few resources, with Westerners taking far more than their fair share. Fewer children = better living conditions for the living.

Yes! Of course, children are the future of every generation!
Future generations depend on today's children.
Today's children will become the leaders, parents and teachers of tomorrow.
Your parents and grandparents raised you to adulthood.
Your grandparents were cared for by your parent's generation as your generation will become caretakers of your parents.

Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they poses inside. Give them a sense of pride.
Yes, I have always been a firm believer in children being our future and it pleases me.

They are their own future. I am my future...well at least until they lock me up in an old age home...THEN they are the future I suppose.
