i have always been called a flirt by my girlfriend...ok so i asked her what is flirting? she tells me its talking...........talking........soooo, im not supposed to talk or what.

Flirting is much more than talking. It's body language, eye contact, and even the written word can be considered flirting. It's just something people do to flatter each other and make each other smile I suppose....it can be defined differently for different people.
*edit: If your relationship is secure and you are the kind of person who can flirt innocently(because yes, it can be done), then there's nothing wrong with it. If she doesn't want you to flirt with others then you should respect her request. My hubby knows I'm a big flirt and that I tend to flirt with friends anyway, and he and I are both comfortable with that because we both know that at the end of the day, we're the ones we both come home to. He flirts with other women sometimes(mostly friends, as I do), and it's just something that we know about each other because we've been together for almost nine years :)

My definition of flirting is being unfaithful to your girlfriend. Which I don't think you were, she's being that to you, by accusing you falsely of something you absolutely didn't do. Flirting is also when a guy and a girl playfully interact and care to have flirtatious fun with the opposite sex, which is playing with the other person's ear, hair, or body part and etc. I guess you can check out Dictionary.com or some other answers, but I do hope mine was helpful enough!

Body language or banter that tells another person that you are 'interested'. It also implies that you are available.
I had a friend who flirted with every female he came in contact with. His girlfriends and wives thought it was just how he was...but he was cheating like crazy.

Firting: a playful behaviour meant to arouse sexual interest ^^^^^^^thats the definition from google^^^^^^^^ yet does she snigger at your jokes, smile alot round you, contact your arm each and every now and then such issues as that are flirting
