Call and reschedule. It's the most professional thing you could do. If she needs someone right away, then you might need to look somewhere else.

Never assume anything. Always call and get the best response from your potential employer about whether she needs someone right away or not.

I do not think you should worry too much.

I believe that the your Interviewer is more concerned with you getting better.

And if you do go for the interview you may not be able to do well because you are sick at the moment.

If you have not had the interview as of yet maybe you should reschedule when you get better.

And missing the interview will not have a negative impact on the hiring decision because you do have a legitimate excuse to reschedule.

Hope this helps!

God Bless....

Just phone her and tell her you are really interested in the job but you are sick with the flu and don't feel it's appropriate to attend for an interview when you are so sick. I do the employing of staff in my company and i appreciate honesty. I would always reschedule an interview in this instance. Better that than potentially making me (and others) sick.

I would call and explain that you are sick with the flu and don't want to spread it to the children and see if they can reschedule the interview for another day.

I would call her and reschedule. She won't think very much of you coming to the school with the flu with all the kids there, shows irresponsibility.

I would give the employer the option. Call up and say something like "I understand that a contagious virus like bthe flu can be quite serious in you indusrty, so would you like me to keep my appointment, or rechedule when I am no longer a risk to your kids"
