Global warming has to do with the sun,the ozone layer, ice, mankind and animals.
One example.Every year certain areas throughout our country are achieving higher temperatures (ozone deteriorating),more rains( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2330553.stm)and snow(ice is melting somewhere else), such as in Lamar,CO (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,240958,00.html). The crazy mixture of natural episodes have inflicted humans, animals and, in effect, our environment.I believe parts of the west coast is sprouting flowers right now becausu of the sun and current temperatures..People are out running in shorts and shirts.
Global warming is basicly 1.the ozone (protective layer of the sun's UV rays) being depleted as a result of pollution and toxic elements in the air (exhaust from our SUV,factories, aerosol spary, etc), 2.the sun's rays are causing a meltdown throughout some of the coldest places on earthhttp://archives.cnn.com/2002/TECH/space/05/09/iceberg.satellite/index.html.Ice bergs are melting at a faster rate than before. When snow melts, it basicly is the sun evaporating the snow, giving it over to the sky,the sky turnes it into rain or snow to land somewhere else), like New Orleans(http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2005/katrina/),Colorado, Texas(http://www.redcross.org/article/0,1072,0_312_5558,00.html), and even the Philipines(http://www.astro.cz/_data/images/news/2005/08/01/Tsunami_a.jpg),etc. The effects of global warming can be so catastrophic that it could impact our livestock and other agriculture that we depend on making it impossible to survive. That's what global warming is, but you don't have to worry about it because it doesn't exist. By the way El Paso, TX is on a snow weather advisory right now.

global warming is real and we are in danger.the effect of global warming speak for itself just look around you. is it warm outside when it should be freezing cold.its January and i still haven't seen any snow. no more than 2yrs ago at this time there was 4 to 6inches of snow on the ground.what about the floods in new Orleans or the blizzards in states or countries that never seen snow at all but now get 10 inches of snow over night.yes global warming affects weather patterns like you wouldn't believe. the glaciers well their melting at an alarming rate, more have melted in the last 10yrs than in the past 50 my guess but probaly close.what about farmers crops geting flooded or just to the point that the ground is to soft and mushy that they cant even harvest the crops that are growing.farmers loose billions of crops time and money that they depend on to live or survive, what will we do without them? the list goes on tornados hurrricanes tropical storms flooding droughts.what about the animals that are forced out of thier natural enviroment because of the weather that is caused by global warming? and the plants that get to much or to little water, or it gets to hot or cold for that plant to suvive. " for instance kelp grows about 5 to 10 feet per day and depend highly on the suns energy and light and warmth to do so, if the weather pattern changes to much and becomes too cloudy or cold than it wont grow as fast which may cause it to die and could affect the ballence of the under water life.

Hi there Sami,
I live in Montreal, Canada and usually at this time a year the temperature is below freezing point with lots snow!! but today i was outside on my back gallery with shorts and socks looking at the green grass, drinking my cold glass of water and smelling what reminded me of spring. (thats really unusual!!!)
If this keeps up, eventually we wont have winters no more and we would be able to grow things year round! our roads will be in better condition (less cracks and holes!) and we will enjoy every aspects of no snow like everybody in the south or wherever!
Some animals are not hibernating (not sleep throughout winter) so thats to be seen in the near future result. Hopfully more good things then bad. Unfortunetly sofar i wasnt able to snowboard at my local hill cuz theres not snow!! :( but you know,.. give and take,..
They say that the snow is melting at the north of Canada and that polar bears are slowly dying because there is less ice, everything is melting and they cant hunt cuz theres no place they can hunt on, everything is melted, so they spend all there time swimming and not eating which ending up those poor polar bears drowning.
annyways,..hopes this helps,.. good luck on your oral!

What do you know about Global Warming?
I have to write a seven minute speech on the effects of global warming on agriculture. If anyone has ANY information on this hot-topic, it would greatly be appreciated. And if you have any websites that would be of service, that would be nice too. Thank you for your time.

Global warming has affected crops in Australia. We are in the middle of a drought which has had an impact on the crops.Unseasonable climate has played havoc with the crops. No green patures for livestock which means price of meat goes up for the consumer.

G/W comes down to two very opposing schools of thought: The 'scientific view' as opposed to the
'fossil fuels & interconnected industries view'.
Almost all reputable scientists understand G/W and it's 'now here' effects. (see Candian ice sheft fade, El Nino Grande, tropical superstorms, ad infintium)
It's probably to late to save many species and humans could be one of those former species if we're not very careful. And if that's not enough, NASA is talking about planetary exploration and inhabitation of the Moon. Huh? I wonder who gets a ticket to that hellish existance?
Sorry samster; I was just needing to sound off about this. Do good in school, the rest of us are gonna need you.
Peace Out+++

If it's not due tomorrow, then GO RENT An Inconventient Truth by Al Gore, it's definitive on the topic. If you want to impress even more, Penn & Teller's BULL%^&* "debunks" it. These are your absolute best bets.

in case you prefer to get carry of grant money for climate study, do you think of which you will get a cheque in case you assert," i want the grant, as i think of that i will teach that the figures that the present paradigm relies upon are incorrect" ? the super environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. there continues to be no shown causative link between the quantity of Co2 interior the ambience, and an develop in international temperatures. The WWWF photos of the polar bears swimming have been taken interior the Arctic summer season; whilst the ice cap partly melts, as they could not upward push as much as image interior the iciness. The ice became too thick! The East-Anglian uni study figures. "Oh! The figures do not tournament our expectancies. Oh properly. shop quiet. because of the fact all of us be attentive to that we are suited." whilst the perception, and the religion is extra substantial than squarely dealing with the valid doubts of a vast variety of non grant-supported scientists, technological information has been superceded by technique of non secular zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully suggested." I pray thee, interior the bowels of Christ, evaluate that thou mayest be incorrect."

I know that British researchers announced today that in 2006 the earth's average temperature increased 3/100 of one degree. This evidently affects liberals pretty hard.
