If you ask him to meet you at a very high class restaurant and you manage the bill, then make sure that a bunch of roses are brought to your table along with the chef's complimentary meal and a rose bowl. I'm serious, a rose bowl. A bowl filled with roses. That would be so romantic, and after the dinner, if you brought the guy to your home and you snuggled under the covers while watching a sappy movie. At the end, before he left, you could say, "Hey, you know what? I think you're such a wonderful, and very special guy. Any woman would be so pleased and honored to spend her life with you. I know I would. I truly am sorry for what I did. If you could be very considerate and paying attention to my feelings, I would be so happy if you could forgive me. I'm so, so sorry and I really hope you can be convinced to let me go just this one time. Please, please say yes!"
