How to have an effective, persuasive article?

Question

Does anybody have any idea how to promote something to people (like a product i guess) and to get them to use it? Or to promote a group and to get ppl to join it? You can use blanks in your sentences! But yeah if u can help me out, that would be VERY MUCH appreciated! :-)

The best way to promote anything is be defining its need and its use. An example of this is infomercials that start by showing you all the times you have ever been frustrated by that door that wont stay open and then shows you a device which will perform the function of holding the door open. The next thing to keep in mind is that it has to be attractive to those in need or the target audience if there is no true need, so it cant be too pricy if the audience is of low income or it cant be too cheap if the target audience is of high stature. Groups are the same way, there has to be a need, a use and a benefit for joining the group.

popularity.... if you see some movie star advertising shoes your gonna want them cause that person is wearing them
