I have found that walking an average of 5 miles at a time (about 1 hour) 3 times a week helped me lose 10 pounds a month that stayed off. It is an enjoyable way to spend some time organizing your thoughts and lose some weight without killing yourself. I also changed my diet a little by adding more water and a few more salads a week but I believe the walking had a profound affect on my overall health as well as helping me get rid of that "spare tire".
Altogether, I dropped 45 pounds and still maintain that weight today, 2 years later. I hope this helps.

Hypnosis can help a lot. But no matter what method you use, keeping it off is a lot harder than losing. I finally just gave up and decided to accept the body I have, and I've been much happier since.
