Unfortunately Doctors do not care. I would say if your not spotting or bleeding you should be ok. If your concerned
go to an ER or walk in clinic to be checked out.

no this should ot be considered normal behavior for a dr. They should call you back no matter what. Did you try calling back? Even if you need peace of mind that is their job and what they are being paid for. You are probably fine, the baby is well protected in there and can survive more traumatic things. I know how worrisone theses things can be, if it were me i would be very scared and concerned to. I hope every thing works out ok and make sure you get a old of your dr!! it's not too late to switch if needed.

I'd say if you're feeling ok then you shouldn't worry trust me your gut will tell you something aint right. I've actually went to the doc. at 9 a.m. and he told me he'd call me after lunch and him get stuck at the office and then had to go to the ER for some things too that he called me back at 10 til midnight. Really wasn't to wild about that but he did call me back and explained everything and wanted to let me know that he did not forget. If you're in pain I'd suggest just goin on to the ER if you think somethings up and that you feel you need medical attention then the only thing you're goin to be guilty of is being really protective right now which you have every right to be. Just follow your gut.

He should have called you back by now. Is there an urgency or emergency line you could call? Also, if you're cramping or bleeding, don't wait for his call, go into the ER asap! I don't know if you still have time, but it wouldn't hurt to go to a clinic or a hospital to check that everything is okay. I think you may be able to go into the urgency or emergency room to check on your baby if you explain what happened. You should go just to be safe; don't wait for that doctor anymore! Good luck, and blessings for you and your baby.

I don't know why your dr. didnt call you back. But I must say your baby is well protected in its bag of water so dont stress out too much, i doubt any damage was done but I would call the dr. back or call the maternity ward at the hospital and ask a nurse what you should do. They will more than likely tell you to watch for spotting or bleeding. Sorry i couldnt help more.

Your baby is probably just fine, he/she is surrounded by a lot of amniotic fluid, and uterine muscle (not to mention your bladder and other organs). However, as you are probably still concerned, you should go to the emergency room- the doctor is on call in the birthplace... Good luck

Call him back! It's your baby and your paying him to take care of you and your baby! Besides that, most falls that early will not hurt a baby but be sure to look for spotting or cramping just in case! You wouldn't believe how much protection your baby has in the womb.

As long as you're not bleeding or having cramps/contractions, your baby will be fine. The baby is VERY well protected in the uterus; chances are excellent that it made no impact on him/her whatsoever.
In the event that you ARE cramping/contracting or bleeding, don't wait for your doctor to call back - get to an emergency room.

At 4:30 the doctor may have left.
If you feel there is a problem go to the emergency room.
Good luck to you.

at only 16wks I'm sure you are fine...the human body is tough! Unless you are having any abnormal pain you'll be fine. As far as your Dr. goes if he doesn't get back to you tomorrow then he may not be the most sensitive guy and don't feel bad about changing Docs if you can.
