I love him and I don't even know him. Absolutely an amazing person.
I'm not sure where you're from so I don't know if you know this, but many New Yorkers are like that. When it comes down to it they'll help whoever needs a hand. But people believe the stereotype that we're all mean. :(
I love my city! :)
Okay, the story:
This guy was on the train platform with his two girls, taking them home before he had to go to work. This other guy started having a seizure. Three people, including the man we're talking about, tried to help him. But the man having the seizure ended up falling on the train tracks due to his convulsions. The guy jumped onto the tracks after the other man fell and managed to squish both of them between the two rails because a train was coming and it couldn't have stopped in time. He managed to save them both. It was such a close call he had grease on his knit hat from the subway cars. His first words were to reassure his daughters that he was okay. After they removed the train cars he picked up his two girls and continued on heading for work. Amazing, isn't it???

I think he was very brave even tho i did not tell me the story, ...
BTW this is another question where the key word is NOT black, in this case its hero. Most Amazibg person? Not sure. Human spirit can both amaze and frustrate a person.
"Good" like evil is "racially independent". You are wat you do, not the pigmentation in your skin or your parents genes.
Does it surprise me a black man is such a hero? Not at all. If you look you can find good people every where and sadly bad ones too. Sometimes circumstances play a role. It might be tru that an ordinary person could be villian or hero according to circumstanes. I dont know.
tell me more about the story to. Wat was the name of the black guy and did both survive.
P.S i like dont dream its overs answer best, ... I'd be proud to be from New York if i was american on that. Truth is of course, these kind of people are more common than we think. Some situations bribg out the best and worse in people. Still most of us are sadly not so brave. I'd watch the other guy die and mabye feel guity after the fact. At least i thnk thats how id react. Mabye the hero guy would have thought same thing if he'd heard story done by some one else; that hed never have the presense of mind, ...

Evan Bourne WWE: that guy is the most talented new sperstr in the business and he still hasn't won a title way better than theMiz who's pathetic in his moves, SoCal Val TNA;she's 23, she should get matches for championships and hard training, she has what it takes to be a really good wrestler, the look, charisma and athlectibility, instead they put her as a valet, SUCKS!

Yeah, sounds like an awesome guy. He's living up the publicity, but, heck, he saved a guy by pushing him down on train tracks while he was having a heart attack. Cool story.

Not only did he save this man's life, but he did it while his children were on the platform watching this whole thing take place. That man truley is a hero. Talk about making points with God ! He has a get-out-of-hell free card for sure!

I'm from NYC and everyone is so amazed on what that man did. How he reacted so quickly and put his life in danger to help the other man. That's a true hero and I'm proud that he's from NY too.

I never knew he was black until you mentioned it. I just thought he was the kind of person the world needed more people to be like. Great Guy!

I think it doesn't matter what color this man is. What he did was selfless. He really had no time to think. He just did. I'm sure his family and friends and very proud of him.
I know he did not die, but I don't know about the other man.

He's a hero, and the best kind.
Try to see him as a man, and not a "Black man".
