Growing up in the late 80's, I didn't know anything about Menudo. It was all New Edition/Bell Biv Devoe and New Kids On the Block.
New Kids On The Block were more famous, historically speaking.

I definitely would have to say New Kids on the Block were more popular. They were very popular when my daughter was a teenager. She absolutely loved them. Her bedroom walls were completely covered with their pictures and posters. I can't tell you how many concerts she attended, but she went to quite a few.
It seems to me that there was a lot more media coverage of NKOTB. I don't remember hearing as much about Menudo, but that's just my opinion.

I would say the NKOTB but if you went in a hispanic neighborhood Menudo - you couldn't find a NKOTB anything anywhere.

i dont like either but my vote is new kids on the block they had the bigger name and lasted the longest
