and now i unplugged it and it still just says do not disconnect, is ther any way to reset this what do i do?????

press and hold down menu and the middle key then press play. and if that doesnt work then wait for it to die of battery loss then plug it back in,.and bam! its back to life

If you are using a Mac, just close iTunes and drag your iPod icon to the trash. If you are using a Windows computer, close iTunes and eject your iPod. Shortly after you do that, it should let you disconnect. If not, you may have to disconnect the cable and reset the iPod before hooking back up to your computer.

there is a button on top of the ipod that says hold make sure it is all the way to the left and when it is to the left hold down the play button.

and if that problem still occurs take it back and tell them what went wrong with it and they might recommend a different mp3 player but hey it might work.

try holding down the play button that should turn it off.
