I was always a believer that people get judged by their outer appearance. Here is mine. I work outside. I wear a XXL shirt, viet nam hat, l/s shirt, dark sunglasses, bandanna around my neck, and I am tall and BIG. One day I am chopping roots out of a hole with an axe. A young boy, about 7, comes up to watch me. His mother, 3 houses down, ask where he is. When she see's him, she waves. I wave back -with the axe, and she goes BACK INSIDE of the house. She never came out again. When I was finished, he walked home and I drove off.
Excuse me? But I guess that appearance means nothing in today's world. I do not look like Mr. Approachable, I thought. Apparently NOT. What do you think?

I think that its in human nature to judge on appearance... if we sense that you may be a criminal or something then we would not want to find out. But obviously she didn't think nothing of it cause she left her son with you

maybe she felt like u were just working. u assumed she would think u were a threat but a man in an expensive business suit is as much as a threat as someone whos not dressed nice.

People do judge by appearances. It's the same way with judging a book by its cover. You're not supposed to do it, but people do it anyway.

appearance matters a lot. people will lie about it 'til the cows come home, but it matters.
and people do NOT date people they don't think they are hot. yes, women do this too. it's human nature.
