verify along with your community police. If coated, this is lower than state regulation. in the journey that they tell it truly is, in truth, unlawful, then have them provide the statute for that you will be stated as an criminal. many times police will "say" something is unlawful without backing it up. In some states (fairly CA, for one) the position this is unlawful for something to be connected for your windwhield or dodge unobstructed imaginitive and prescient. Even a GPS must be fixed on the dashboard, not even from a nook of the windshield. In Michigan, a handicapped placard putting out of your reflect is a citable offense. besides the actual incontrovertible truth that you want to demonstrate it for parking, you should get rid of it lower back earlier utilizing. In Texas, i do not understand. The police officials do not look vulnerable to quote human beings for it, yet that would not inevitably make it legal.

Yes, but it will also depend upon the cop who stopped you. I was pulled over in my Iroc just around dusk--passenger was lighting up cigar and officer aparently thought 'hmmm, young kids, lighting something up--must be dope' because when he pulled me over he went to passenger side and shone flashight on my friends eyes and then on the cigar. Then he looked around car to find something wrong--only thing he could find was tree freshner hanging on rearview mirror.Told me to remove it cause it's obstruction of view.I then asked him if he had a screwdriver so that I could remove my rearview mirror cause that too was obstructing my view. He didn't like that and told me to get the f*** out of here before he gave me a ticket.

yep, if it obstructs your vision you can. A friend of a friend got a ticket for having a million of those stuffed animals you win in machines in her back window. It would take a really mean and picky cop to stop you for something so silly though. She had a headlight out as well, the obstructed rear window was a bonus citation.

yes, in many states it is illegal. Not always enforced, but it does give a reason to pull you over and then check for other infractions.
