Absolutely. Many people fail to realize that the Globetrotters have a lot of players but maybe half of them are actually the 'showmen'. The others are legitimate college or former NBA players. A few years ago the younger members of the Globetrotters did a tour playing against college All-Star players and they held their own. Sure, a good NBA team would crush them but they could possibly squeak out a win against a team like Memphis or Atlanta.

Absolutely not. Almost every move they make is illegal in real basketball, so they couldn't even use much of their skills. On top of that, most NBA players can do the same tricks -- they're not that hard. The reason the Globetrotters are fun to watch is because they've choreographed their moves and made them into a show. Give NBA players enough time and motivation, and they could do the same thing. But most Globetrotters couldn't become top NBA players -- not with all the time in the world.

The games the Globetrotters play are set up for entertainment purposes, not really basketball purposes. Most of the time their games are set up. They'd be killed by even the worse NBA team probably.

I highly doubt it. The reason they are on Harlem is because they have ballhandling skills but NOT the skills needed for the NBA (size or defense, for example)

the trotters can't beat ANY NBA team or even the team's bench players.

talent follows money. if any trotter can go to the NBA, they would because that trotter can make a lot more money in the NBA.
