The sped of lightining is measured ony when it is in a straight line , if the lght is to travel in zigzag then you should have a very good reflective surface so t can travel zigzag.

You know I hadn't thought about that. Lightning does zig-zag but I don't know if that would change the speed or distance it travels. That's something that will need to be researched.

During lightning....the speed of light would be 3 x 10^8 m/second
and the speed of sound -330 m/s.
i dunno exactly its right or wrong,...but we r taught this.
