Specifically speaking of the man who witnessed another man having a seizure fall onto the subway tracks. He jumped down and rolled the guy to the middle of the tracks and laid on top of him while a train went over them. I used to work in NY and took the subways all the time. Even with that drainage ditch between the tracks, it only gives you a little more than 20 inches of clearance. Takes a lot of guts to do what this guy did.

That guys isn't only a hero but he's smart too. I would never have had the time to think of something like that, I hope that guy gets some kind of award he really did a special thing that obviously not many people would do. I might have done it, because when adrenaline kicks in do don't reall think about the consiquenses. I'm a lifeguard and when someone gets hurt i go right into "lifeguard mode" i guess i don't reall know how to explain it.

This man is a true hero. When I think of what could have happened had he and the other man not had enough clearance, I think I'm not sure if I could have done the same thing. He had his two children with him too. Do they have a story to tell about their dad or what?

That man is more than a hero!!! He made a friend for life. God used this man to show the rest of us that angels are real and working overtime! Would I do the same? I'd like to think so, but I would probably be frozen in fear. Thank God for people like him.

That guy is a true hero. Trump could only spare a $10,000 reward. That is wine money for one night for Trump. the guy should be given a civil service job in NYC with the big pension.

Great question!

How could someone know what they would do? The reaction would need to be instantaneous without giving thought to ones own personal saftey.

It's just something anyone could do, but I think it's impossible to determine just who has "it" and who doesnt.

Good food for thought, though.

That's scary!! It's not that I wouldn't want to do it but I'd be frozen in fear and don't think I could react that fast. That guy is a true hero.
