I think that gay/bi people have been around for a long time. One of the teachers at my high school was a lesbian that I graduated from. She was the woman who was in charge of the high school band's flag line. But considering the fact that it's been 10 years since I've graduated from high school, I haven't seen her in a while.

Even before I could begin to answer this question, I couldn't help but notice the horrendous grammar in the question itself. If you want people to take you seriously, if this is even a serious question, try using proper grammar!
Secondly, being gay or bi is not a trend. Seeing as how you clearly feel about it, I would say it's a good thing it's not a trend, because I certainly would not be as proud to be a lesbian if I knew there were people like you partaking (or not) in this "trend".
There is a proven statistic that every 1 out of 10 people are gay, bi or lesbian. There are 3 billion people in the United States alone. Now, stop asking stupid questions and go do some math.

It is not a trend to have gay and bi people everywhere. In fact more then 50% of th epopulation falls into the better than 50% gay side of life. All you are noticing is that more gay and bi people are being more open about their sexuality.

Rather being dead than gay sounds a little extreme.....but the answer is that its not a trend - its no more common now than it was 50 years ago. The difference is that its more socially accepted now and therefore easier to come out and be open about sexuality - gay people are more visible now, giving the appearance that there are more now than there were years ago.

Okay so you said your not against it yet you say you'd rather "die" then be apart of it? Well with that attitude they wouldnt want you to be apart of it anyway...even though being gay or bi is nowhere near being a trend. And yes they are everywhere.

gays, lesbians and bisexuals have always been around...as long as humans have been around. since we are now more accepted by educated people instead of always being harassed by ignorant bigots, there are more of us who are openly gay.
saying you'd rather die than be gay? well, that's a little extreme, and harsh, and insulting. do you have any gay friends you've turned your back on? if you found out one of your friends were gay, would you not want to be friends any longer? I hope you educate yourself some more and open up your eyes and mind.

yes they are everywhere it is not a trend. it is not a choice. they do not choose to be gay anymore, than you chose to be straight. it is a part of nature. they are not different then anybody else. they want to love, be loved, have relationships, jobs, and homes. don't be afraid of what you don't understand. hope this helps your question.

Is it wrong that people are more comfortable with themselves and with society that they feel they can come out of the closet at a younger age?
I would recommend focusing more on your school work and less on other students' sex lives seeing how your grammar could use a bit of work.
