Bodi Detox Patch" Anyone heard of it and know anything about it?

I was given some samples of the "Bodi Detox Patch" and was wondering if any of you had used or knew of this. It claims to use wood vinegar and bamboo vinegar extract, houttuynia cordata extract, loquat leaf extract, chitosan, tourmaline, dextrin, vegetable fiber and vitamin c to draw out heavy metal toxins such as mercury, aluminum, lead, arsenic, etc. You stick it on your foot overnight and it turns brown with "toxins". I haven't tried it yet because I have a few questions...

HOW does this allegedly work?

IS it really sucking out all of these toxins?

HAVE you or somebody you know ever tried it?

These are made or distributed by Peaceland Holdings. Ever heard of them?

Thanks for your help guys!!

To begin, I have not tried the foot detox patches, although they are here awaiting my testing of them (a different brand than those you have).

I have tried "detoxifying foot baths", but because of the cost, stopped the treatments after about 5 or 6 weeks (10 - 12 sessions). At the same time, many other modalities and lifestyle changes were part of my protocol, and all I can say is that after two years, I have regained my own health. Therefore, I am a strong supporter of alternative health care, and can attest to my own wellness. The case for metal toxicity merits serious investigation and should be a concern for anyone interested in maintaining or reclaiming optimal health. Both metal toxicity and diet are most likely the major culprits for many diseases and auto-immune illnesses.

Because your question greatly interests me, I did try a fast web search to see if there might be scientific or quantifiable data to support or refute the usefulness of detox patches. Interestingly enough, while I did not instantly find any answers to your questions, I did read a scientific article regarding the effects of various metal toxins in the body, which makes a great case for detox. Whether or not the patches are like using a pea-shooter at a nuclear war I do not know, but as you have been given these samples might it be safe to assume you are currently seeking alternative medical care and/or advice? Please read this article, and decide for yourself if metal detoxification is something your body needs:

Sampling the foot patches cannot do any harm along with other methods of detoxification.and diet modifications, with perhaps an inquiry into the acid/alkaline balance in your system (I suggest this because the ingredients of your foot pads suggest this is the type of detox pads you've been given). I've also listed below some websites which you may find as helpful references or launch points.

While I've not quite answered your questions in quite the ways you've outlined, I sincerely hope this might encourage you to keep asking, keep investigating, and keep yourself healthy.
