I really hope not. We really need to get our act together and win in '08. Personally, I think Obama is the better candidate, (I think Clinton is a bit too moderate) although it would be really great to have a female president sometime in the very near future.

I've thought about that too. Obama says he's uniting the democrats but I see the opposite. I hear the african americans already saying that if Obama doesn't win the nomination, then they're not voting in November. I sure hope this group thinks twice about their decision. The democrats need to stick together regardless of who gets the nomination. We cannot let a republican take the white house.

People loved Obama anyway, then he went on Oprah with his family and now people are positively fawning and drooling all over him. His failing point is he only has a couple years' experience in politics. I think that is going to be a real debate in the election.

Clinton is such a polarizing figure. People love her or hate her.

I don't think it will split the party, but it will be an interesting election year. The Republicans will have to pull out a real winner out of their butts to get this one in the bag.

It probably will split the party, yet after the Democratic primary I am hopeful that the party will line up behind who ever wins the nomination...

No! Obama won't get very far in the primary since he has admitted to being a druggie. CBS will dig up every indiscretion in this man's past and make it public. He is dead in the water now.

You mean the party without direction, without a cause, without a plan and without a clue could be any more split than it already is? Oh wait! They've finally found their way to Washington after all these decades... God help us all.
