It wont let me play, i installed the deluxe version , then hot date, then, superstar, and then when i click to play the screens goes crazy and i cant do a thing except restart the computer... or if the game actually stars, when i click on a house, where i had a family the game begins to minimize and mazimize like crazy and freezes the comp... if i instal makin magic will it be fixed or is there something wrong with my comp? when i looked at the system req, it said my cpu speed or somthing like that was in the red, which shouldnt happen right? since my comp is only a year old, and its windows xp, so sims should work...
Also when i try to instal sims 2 an error occurs when i am at 90%, i tried 5 times and the error apeared in 5 different spots all near the 90s, can anyone help with that?
If u cant help plz dont answer.

You might has downloaded some bad object or floor flies. Do you have The Sims Flies Cop? If not I can e-mail you it. Also try to remove it and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work call Maxis Technical Help line. The number should be on the game booklet. Good luck.

this wont be much help, but is a laptop? because ive read that games like the sims that require video-like action wont always work on laptops, and there is really nothing you can do. the video card is already built in to the system and it is difficult to upgrade it. And if its a laptop, the speed is probably too fast for the game to detect so it gets all messed up.
