I think so, except you definantly knwo your outcome if you get married. Wlaking the plank there is still some hope.

No. Generally you have the choice to get married. No one walks the plank by choice.

if the boat is a lonely unfulfilling place and when you walk off the plank you fall into a refreshingly beautiful wet and wonderful place full of surprises and fun, then yes

lol it depends on who you get married to I suppose. If you are happy in your relationship, then no, I wouldn't consider it walking the plank. If you aren't happy in your relationship, why bother getting married?
