Does anyone else think that the whole blonde hair, blue eyed beauty thing is overrated? Yes, there are cute, pretty and hot blondes, but I actually find a lot of girls with brown hair or asian, spanish, black, etc. etc. girls are better looking. I mean, just because a girl has blonde hair, it does not automatically deem her pretty...Especially the ones that try sooo hard with the fake tans, caked on make up and so on. Anyone with me on this one? Anybody else sick of the whole blonde is better theme in this world?? (no offense to blondes)

I am just that but I never thought that made me prettier. My whole family are like that and I like being blonde and blue, but O married a brown haired guy. (Medium Br).
I think I am pretty (in a cutish way) not like exotic but I know other women that are dark and dark eyes that I think are just as or sometimes a lot prettier then me.
Beauty is in te eye of the beholder and pretty comes in all colors and sizes too.

Yes, I do agree with you. Guys that are brunettes, redheads, black-haired and more can be as handsome as blondes. The ones that are as you say are caked with make up and got fake tans are what I call chavs, BUT only if the've got that type of personality too. Anyway. I think that being a platinum blonde haired girl/boy only fits the very few, like James Marsters for exemple. Honeyblonde/Goldenblonde is way nicer... according to me.

No offense taken. I meet your criteria, but just based on the blonde hair/blue eye characteristics... totally overrated. Of course it gets balanced out a bit by the other stereotype of the 'dumb blonde'.

Yes you are right. Ive seen blond girl/guy who are just plain looking to not good looking. In the other hand, i see brunette, red head or asian people who are very attractive...
the attractiveness doesnt depends on the blond hair colour..it depends on its own individual face...plus character

I'm sorry to say that I have no sympathy for you. I'm mixed, and I look half white, with naturally curly hair. When I was younger, I got made fun of by all races, and they all called me ugly names, all the time. My self-esteem is non-existent. My point: there will always be people talking about you. You just have to deal with it.

I agree so much. Even if alot of people deny that we do not do that, look at our media! If is completely full of people who tan and dye their hair color to blonde. It is really annoying.

I totally agree but women are responsible of this too because some women instead of accepting themselves as different beauties they color their hair. If they are brunettes they insist on being blondes or having blonde highlights or wearing contact lenses. We women are responsible of this too for following what people say instead of accepting ourselves.
