Help! My friends mom is going out with a seemingly nice guy, but her daughter is crazy enough to try murdering him and kill herself in the process. My friend is living in a devil's paradise at her house. I need to support her, but how?

First of all if you know this to be true you should call the police because no matter how hellious the home, murder will not solve it and she needs to deal with the problem so that she will be around for a long time. I think you need to encourage to call a help hot line or talk to a professional. If she is school age encourage her to go to someone at school and talk to them, an adult needs to be involved.

Talk to your friend; ask her to talk things over with a counselor. She needs professional help. This is not the answer to the problem. If she doesn't like the person her mom is dating; then she should speak to her mom.
She may feel betrayed and left out. If you love your friend and want to save everyone's life, you need to seek adult's advice (your parents, teacher, etc.) or warn her mom.
