Soda water is carbonic acid (CO2 disolved in water)
Vinegar is acidic (acetic acid)

I am into electronics/robotics so I'll tell you to build a small robot. There are some very simple. - Line follower robot : You put a line of duct tape on the floor and the robot follows it. You can find explanations and how to do it anywhere (google, yahoo or bing) - Obstacle avoidance: Like its name indicates, the robots moves into a space and avoid obstacles on its way. - A system to turn on the light automatically as it gets darker. Use of a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) to turn on a LED.
