No. Rodriguez is a West Virginia alum and was born and raised in the area. I believe he was using Alabama as a way to get more money out of WVU, which he ended up doing.
Besides, the pressure to win is a lot less in Morgantown than it is in Tuscaloosa and it's a lot tougher to win in the SEC vs. the Big East.

nope, West Virginia is turning into a much better program and a new powerhouse with the better athletes. Also, there is too much pressure in alabama, one bad season and your done. Look at Shula, is an ex- student and player, had a 10-2 record and at the first sign of failure, he was dropped, who wants to be a part of that.

No way, he has a sweet deal up there plus an easy conference. In Alabama you're always under the pressure cooker cause they expect you to win 10 games every year. That's VERY hard in the SEC.
