I want to travel by air with my Dance Dance Revolution PS2 dance mats/pads. I've tried folding them so that they would fit into my suitcase but I'm worried that after being folded and all the weight of luggage on top of them they won't work anymore. Any suggestions?

I travel all the time with my DDR mat, and it never gets messed up. When I travel with my mat I just fold it up and put it between my clothing. That way noting can harm it.

Good luck!

Traveling and packing your DDR pad along. I can assume you are flying right? Well I would also have to say padding your pad with your clothing is the best idea. However I recommend that if you are traveling, I would rather take the time to visit new arcades and meet new friends wherever I go than risk being in a hotel and disturbing other guests.

However I do pack my Ignition hard foam pad whenever I am road tripping anywhere especially with friends.

Roll them up and bubble wrap them. That way, the cables inside will stay safem and the mats will stay safe. The mats may have some creases in them later, though. But they will straighten out.
