I drive a HONDA ELEMENT right now, the fastest I go to is 70mmph on Interstate 5 where the maximum is 70mph.
About 5 years ago my husband and I drove to Capitola with our 1985 Ferarri, it was a clear quiet day on the freeway and my husband decided to rev up the car at 120mph for few seconds. He thought it was a thrill but I thought it was scary.

i mechanic for a living,,and years ago i had a 1964 Plymouth sport fury,,that had a 440 police interceptor engine in it,,i was clocked doing 142 ,mph,and got a big old ticket for it,,actually several tickets,,you name it i got it,,but that's the fastest i ever drove any car,and i was still gaining when i seen the road block,,no more though,,that was very foolish,i don't have the nerve for it now anyway,,being 50 kind of makes you mellow out a little,,good luck hope this help,s.

age 16: 90 MPH in my moms ~89 caravan
age 17: 120 MPH in a carburated '88 accord (down a hill)
present (20): 130 MPH in my '91 RX7 (N/A) IN 4th GEAR, then I got some front end wabble, so I slowed down... warn out bushings, I guess...
