i have liked this guy sam for ages. he's such a guy. a couple of weeks ago through friends me and sam started to become friends, i was so happy.i was at the gas station one night walking out and ther he was. so we talked for a while and he was really nice, then i told him i had to go and we kissed. my life was COMPLETE! i walk on smiling and he tells me to stop and he tells me he shouldn't have done that and he's sorry....thats does he mean by that!? does he like me or what? why? it really hurts. i had liked him for months before he even knew me and then this finally happens and BAM.... he's 17 in a couple of weeks.

i don't think it was a spur of the motment thing. he looked me in the eye, put his arms around me and kissed me....i just don't get it

I am sure he likes you. You are both young and he probably doesn't want to jump into anything. That is being respectful. I don't think he was turning you down. He kissed you. I would just continue being friends and get to know him more by talking to him. There is nothing better than being best friends with a guy. Who knows maybe later down the road, he might turn into more, when you are both really ready for a relationship. That would mean more and you would really know more if you would like him as friends or more than friends.

Maybe he's just not sure. I guess you just won't know unless you ask him. He could have been caught up in the moment. Don't stress over it or him.... he may just not be the right one for you -- but if you really wonder what happened, just ask, it won't hurt to just find out.

well that is not such a bad thing - probably should wait a few more years before you try that kissing thing again - it is not that great especially if you don't like cold sores

You just got to ask him straight up; because just from him saying sorry, he could mean that he feels you didnt want it, or that he dont want it.
