Yes I've thought about it many times but became afraid when I saw my father standing in the doorway holding a big knife.

Siggy, I thought you were dead by a morphine overdose. As for the disturbing part, I answered so I suppose the thought disturbed me more than just drifted past me.

maybe this thought will come out when you have nothing to think about, but , it is really disgusting. anyway, there is a reason why you think like that. may be you had sex with your mother in your past life.

according to freud individual experiences what we called OEDIPUS COMPLEX usually during the phallic stage of development. It is something like a sexual attraction to our opposite parents but because of fear of castration and by trying to identified with our same sex parent we are able to solve this problem.
