poeple do this? If a person for some reason plays the fools or pretends to be disturbed for a long time, do you think the person eventually can be truly disturbed?

Sounds like a craving or addiction to attention, at any cost. May need some sort of therapy or counseling to get to the root of this need, especially if the "high" or gratification that they get from it results in increased risky behavior to get the same "high".

People do this because the need attention. they feel insecure about themselve's and, therefore, need every bit of gratification that they can get. This is perpetuated by the continually declining society stating that people should be like this. this simply creates more and more people who try for immediate gratification and validation of themselves rather than to work hard and prove themselves.

definitely for attention. you want the person to think there's more (or less) to you than there actually is.
