I am not sure about the baby, but they still have custody of the young woman until she is 18. Here in NM, they will enforce the law, say if the parents decide to kick her out, they are still responsible for her care.
She will have to get emancipated if she wants to have control of her life. The only way a judge will emancipate her is if she has a job, a place to live, and show the judge that she can hack it.

Sadly there is no Federal Law on this issue, you will have to check with your state. I do know in most states you are unable to have an abortion w/out your parent's consent before the age of 16. A 15 year old has no business having a child, it's a baby having a baby regarless of what many teenagers believe. Good luck to you the 15 year old and the baby. Remeber when all doors are shut, if it is meant to be, a window will open whether or not the outcome is desired.

If she is under the parents roof, they have lots of rights and can file taxes on the daughter and granddaughter which will benefit the whole family.

No - it's their daughter's baby, not theirs. They may go to court and petition for parental rights, but until such time those are granted, the baby belongs to the daughter.

i don't think so it's her baby even though they are the grandparents they don't have custody. that's like if a 35 had a child it would be hers nothing to do with the grandparents.

No. You pretty much have to be awarded custody after she loses it or she has to sign it over.
Stop scheming against your kid and start thinking about ways to HELP her.

i don't think so unless they go to court and are granted rights. The mother has given rights until they are taken away.

No. . . unless the court gives them to her. They will have only the rules of their house.
